If we have more than one translator, are they allowed to have some of the same area in their service contour?

More than one FM translator for the same primary station cannot serve primarily the same area. 

If there are two translators for the same primary station that have overlapping service contours, the overlap is only allowed when the population in the overlapped area represents less than 50% of the population served by both translators. 

Translators for full-service stations can have overlapping contours exceeding 50% if the full-service station has HD Radio and each translator is carrying a different HD stream (for example, one is carrying the station's HD-2 and the other is carrying the station's HD-3).
