The Acting Chief of the FCC's Enforcement Bureau has signed off on a Consent Decree that will settle a matter involving a pirate broadcaster in Broward County, Fla.. And, the FM buccaneer will pay a small price for his felonious airwave use.

Daily audio consumption in Q1 amounted to 3 hours and 45 minutes of daily listening across both ad supported and all ad-free platforms. That's the conclusion found in a just-released quarterly report card from Nielsen with research compiled in partnership with Edison Research.

Salem Media Group on Wednesday released its fiscal report card for the first quarter of 2025. Like many companies, net broadcast revenue declined, fueling a wider net loss in the three-month period. Unlike many of its peers, its net digital media revenue was slightly down in Q1.

At the end of 2021, a trust headed by Alfonso de Alba agreed to purchase an FM radio station serving the Bakersfield market from Juan Carlos Rodriguez, Managing Member of Deportes y Música Comunicaciones LLC. Now, the de Alba trust is selling the facility known to listeners as "Qué Buena."
