eLMS: Preparation for LMS changes & various system fixes

Some REC systems, especially LPFM.us, LPFM.ws, myLPFM and PREMIS are not functioning properly.
The root cause so far is due to an unannounced change in the format of LMS data tables.
REC is currently in the process of modifying our code to be compatible with the new format.
This is also affecting Live services. Until we get this issue resolved on our end, we are not able to do channel searches.
We made some fixes on our AM contour back-end applications that drive the contours on FCCdata's maps. This contour data comes directly from the FCC through KML files. We have also addressed the issue where some contours look like they have jagged edges. We are experiencing a similar issue with this in FM through the eLMS data. Now that we have seen it in action on the AM side, that gives us some ammo to fix it on the FM side.
On FM records that have been enhanced by the REC Radio History Project, a new Historic Grid View link now appears in the header. This link will take you a grid view that shows all of the applications filed in a single view. This functionality has already existed for AM records, but we are now releasing a FM version.
The REC Radio History Project is an ongoing endeavor to digitize the paper versions of the FCC broadcast records.
For FM, Radio History Project enhanced records can be found in the following areas:
The legacy EZforms system has been retired and replaced with a new EZForms Work Request system. The new EZForms will support more request types for LPFM including same site channel changes, license to cover, modification of license, assignments, transfers, silent/resumption requests and administrative updates. The new EZForms will also support commercial and noncommercial full-service FM and FM translator requests for silent/resumption and administrative updates as well as assignments, transfers and license to cover applications for NCE FM facilities (including covering ori
Made improvements to the display of the MX Group list. Split groups now appear on their own unique lines. MX groups with FCC announced tentative selectees have a yellow background.
Added new functionality to support FCC and Media Bureau (DA) documents (such as public notices and orders) in the Window Tracker. Documents can be organized at the window, MX group or individual facility level. For window level notices (impacts the entire filing window), there is now a "Documents" link on the main page where you see the list of those documents. For MX groups, it will display on the MX page for that particular MX group as well as on the page for each individual facility in the group. Facility level documents only show on the facility page.
Full data from the 2010 NCE Reserved Allotments filing window has been added to the Window Tracking Tool.
Use the "Change Window" option to select this data.
This new web service will interact with the FCC's Electronic Documents (EDOCS) API and will provide a page that includes details about a specific document (either a "FCC" document that is adopted by the full Commission or a "DA" delegated authority document that is originated from a specific bureau).
The REC Filing Window Tracking Tool https://recnet.com/window has been loaded with the available data related to the filing windows that took place in 2000 and 2001 for the Low Power FM (LPFM) service. In 2000 and 2001, there were actually four filing windows that would be processed like there were two windows. REC has established a filing window to cover the applications filed in Groups I, II and III and a separate filing window for those filed in the combined Group IV/V window.
Over the Washington’s Birthday federal holiday weekend, REC has made the following system changes and fixes.
NEW – HAAT/Elevation/ERP Tool

Modifications have been made to the NCE/LPFM Window Tool to better support "split groups".
A split group happens when the dismissal or modification of an applicant results in two or more groups of applicants in part of an MX group having no common conflicts with members of the other part of the group.
For example: Let's say there's a daisy chain of applicants that only directly conflict with the next station in the chain:
A <-> B <-> C <-> D <-> E
FCCdata now shows amateur radio Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) IDs. These IDs are provided by RadioID.net and will be updated on FCCdata on a weekly basis on Mondays.
DMR IDs will show for amateur radio listings in the United States, Canada and Australia.
More information about DMR can be found at https://radioid.net and https://www.dmrfordummies.com/
Rewrote a new interface between the eLMS application parser and the FCC Contours API to address changes on the FCC side. This has resulted in some strange looking contour maps. We are going through all FM engineering applications filed in December and January to re-run them through the parser.
Addressed a bug where the grant order counter is picking up applications that are not granted resulting in breaks in the sequence on the grant screen. At the end of each business day, the system will run a script that will seek out only the granted applications and properly number them. The underlying bug causing this to happen is still open, but this band aid fix will bring things back into sync.
Please show your support by using the Ko-Fi link at the bottom of the page. Thank you for supporting REC's efforts!
