Identification of groups of mutually exclusive applications in NCE and LPFM filing windows.

mx_group_id

int

REC identification of the MX group.  This value is repeated in multiple filing windows.  For a unique value, use serial instead.

window_id

int Identification of filing window.

group_type

varchar(1)

Status of the MX Group:

  • R = MX group originally identified by REC during a post window method for predicting MX groups prior to the FCC's official announcement of the designation of the MX groups.
  • F = MX group officially announced by the FCC.
group_name varchar(80)

Name assigned by REC to define the area covered by the MX group.  In bifurcated MX groups, this field will contain the name of the "A" sub-group.

terrain_data varchar(10)

Terrain data used by REC when preliminarily determining the MX group.  (globe30 or ned_1)

fcc_group_id int

Numeric designation of the MX group as assigned by the FCC through public notice.

group_cleared varchar(1)

A value of Y indicates that this MX group has been dissolved through amendments, settlements and/or dismissals.

serial int

A unique internal identifer for the MX group, which unlike mx_group_id and fcc_group_id, are not duplicated in each filing window.

scoring_note varchar(60000)

REC analysis of the potential MX group outcome or the FCC's analysis of the MX group.

split_group varchar(1)

A value of Y indicates that this MX group was bifurcated through amendments, settlements and/or dismissals.

group_name_b varchar(80)

Name assigned by REC to define the area covered by a bifurcated MX sub-group.  This field will contain the name of the "B" sub-group.

group_name_c varchar(80)

Name assigned by REC to define the area covered by a bifurcated MX sub-group. This field will contain the name of the "C" sub-group.

fcc_decision varchar(1)

A value of Y indicates that the FCC has made a decision on this MX group and the potential winner indicated is the tentative selectee.

fcc_decision_a varchar(1)

A value of Y indicates that the FCC has made a decision on "A" subgroup of this bifurcated MX group and the potential winner indicated is the tentative selectee.

fcc_decision_b varchar(1)

A value of Y indicates that the FCC has made a decision on "B" subgroup of this bifurcated MX group and the potential winner indicated is the tentative selectee.

fcc_decision_c varchar(1)

A value of Y indicates that the FCC has made a decision on "C" subgroup of this bifurcated MX group and the potential winner indicated is the tentative selectee.
